Two landscapes. Two completely different honeys. Nature will decide where the hunt takes us.

This September, we are heading out again—not to a farm, not to a row of managed bee boxes, but in search of honey where the bees have followed the landscape.

Our hunt will take us to one of two extraordinary regions of India, depending on flowering, nectar flow, weather and what nature offers us at the time of the hunt.

OPTION 1 — THE SEMI-ARID LANDS OF RAJASTHAN

Desert Flowers Nectar

At first glance, Rajasthan can look too dry to produce honey.

Look closer.

Among the heat, stone, thorn forests and semi-arid plains are plants that have learned to flower with very little water. When these scattered desert blooms produce nectar, wild bees work across a landscape unlike almost anywhere else in India.

Our target is a honey carrying the nectar signature of these semi-arid desert flowers—a harvest shaped by heat, drought-resistant vegetation and the short flowering opportunities of Rajasthan.

OPTION 2 — THE SUNDARBANS

Honey From The World's Great Mangrove Forest

If conditions favour the east, we return to an entirely different world.

The Sundarbans is a landscape ruled by tides—mangrove forests, mudflats, saline water and narrow windows in which people can enter and leave.

Here, honey hunting is inseparable from the forest itself.

The bees forage among mangrove vegetation, while the people searching for their honey work around tides, deep mud, heat and one of India's wildest ecosystems.

The resulting honey belongs to a landscape that simply cannot be reproduced elsewhere.

WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE?

You will receive the honey from whichever September expedition produces the harvest we are satisfied with:

We will not choose a honey simply because we announced a hunt.

The flowering must happen.
The bees must find it.
The honey must be there.
And we must find it.

That is what makes this a Honey Hunt.

SEPTEMBER 2026 LIMITED HUNT

This is not a regularly stocked honey.

Quantity will depend entirely on what we are able to obtain during the expedition. Once the available harvest is allocated, the hunt closes.
