Nature’s Shadow Camel Halloumi is crafted from camel milk sourced from free-ranging camels of the Aravalli region, where the animals roam naturally and browse on a remarkable diversity of 36 herbs, shrubs and native plants.

Camel milk itself is rare. Turning it into a beautiful, firm cheese makes it even more special.

Our Camel Halloumi has a clean, delicate dairy flavour and satisfyingly firm texture, making it wonderful both fresh and cooked. Slice it thick and place it on a hot pan or grill — the outside develops a beautiful roasted character while the inside remains soft and pleasantly chewy.

A Cheese Made for the Pan

Camel Halloumi is incredibly versatile.

Grill it with olive oil and herbs.
Pan-sear it until lightly golden.
Add it to salads and sandwiches.
Serve it beside roasted vegetables.
Pair it with olives, tomatoes or fresh herbs.
Or simply slice it and enjoy it on its own.

Its mild character also makes it an excellent canvas for spices, chilli, pepper, za’atar and other Mediterranean or Indian seasonings.

What Makes Ours Different

The story starts long before the cheese is made.

It begins in the Aravallis, with camels moving through open landscapes and selecting naturally from the vegetation around them. Their milk is then carefully transformed into this distinctive cheese in small batches.
